There are 38 OSSA left on the road in the UK (i.e. with valid road tax). There are a further 134 OSSA that are currently SORNED.
There are currently more OSSA, in total, than ever before. The number taxed topped out in 2014 Q2 and the total SORNed was at its maximum during 2025 Q2.
During 2014 Q4 the number of OSSA that were off the road (SORN) exceeded the number that were licensed for the first time. This could indicate the owners are reluctant to sell or scrap their car as they view them as a potential future classic.
In the last 10 years the total number of OSSA has gained 80. Licensed models have increased by 2 and the SORNed total has increased by 78.
The 5 year trend shows an overall increase of 48 OSSA models. Taxed models have grown by 22 and the SORNed total has increased by 26.
